Coup D’État Has Landed, And We Did It With a Revolution
April 25th. A date etched in Portuguese history as the day freedom kicked down the door. This year, we added our own chapter.
We launched Coup D’État on the very same day the country flipped the script on dictatorship; and no, that wasn’t a coincidence. Our brand is born from that rebel spirit. We're here to shake up the local fashion scene, no compromises, no filters. Just raw, unapologetic style with roots in our history and eyes on the future.
The Scene: Largo dos Lóios, Porto.
The sun showed up. So did the people. Our space at The Feeting Room turned into ground zero for good vibes, cold beers, and revolutionary energy. We dropped our first collection, Sardines: a playful, bold nod to tradition, all made within 60km of Porto. That’s right, we keep it close, we keep it real and we keep it portuguese.
What went down?
Let’s just say no one left hungry, or bored. We served up the classics: bolinhos de bacalhau, tremoços, rissóis… basically, if your grandma would’ve made it for a festa, it was probably there. DJ Ricardo Festa kept the groove tight, spinning all afternoon. People danced, people played matrecos like it was the World Cup, and most importantly: they vibed with the collection.
This wasn’t just a brand launch. It was a cultural reset. A celebration of freedom, fashion, and the fearless energy of a generation that’s not here to play it safe.
